# Capability: Create from designer HTML (HtmlComponent)

**Highlander: do not use.** `htmlComponent` exists in the space but no renderer is registered. Use registered types instead.

## When to use this playbook

Do **not** use HtmlComponent on Highlander. The content type exists in Contentful, but `src/lib/registrations.ts` has no HtmlComponent / external renderer (`externals: 0`). Designer HTML and custom CSS/JS must map to **registered** Highlander types (`cms-edit://customer/pages`, `components-index`, `collections-index`).

This file is a **site task override** (`docs/cms-editor/highlander/tasks/create-html-component.md`). `cms-edit editor-pack generate` copies it over the package playbook so the warning is not dropped on regenerate.
